Confidential introductions

A private first conversation for owners of HVAC, plumbing and electrical companies.

Keystone Deal Partners introduces owner-operators of residential service businesses to a small group of vetted buyers. Nothing about your company is listed, marketed or shared without your permission.

What we do

A buy-side firm that starts with a conversation.

Keystone Deal Partners works for buyers. We introduce owners to buyers, and we do not list or market companies for sale.

Direct, confidential outreach

We write to owners directly and keep every conversation private. If you say no, that is the end of it.

Introductions to vetted buyers

We work with a small group of buyers and introduce them only to owners who have agreed to a conversation. We look for buyers whose plan is to keep the team and the local name in place.

You set the pace

No introduction happens, and nothing about your company leaves our conversation, until you agree to it.

How it works

What a first conversation looks like.

  1. A short, confidential call

About five minutes, to find out whether a conversation makes sense at all. You can say no at this stage and nothing further happens.

  2. We listen first

If you are curious, we ask about the team, the customers, your timeline and what you would want to be true after any transaction.

  3. An introduction, with your permission

If there is a fit, we describe a buyer in general terms. Your company and the buyer are named to each other only after you agree. Asking for an NDA at that point is reasonable.

  4. You decide

You can pause or stop at any step. There is no obligation at any point.

Who buyers look for

Established companies that serve homeowners.

The buyers we work with focus on owner-operated companies that do residential service and replacement work in HVAC, plumbing or electrical, or a mix of the three.

Usually a good fit

  • A steady base of homeowner customers across repair, maintenance and replacement
  • A team that is expected to stay on
  • A name that is known in its local market
  • An owner who is starting to think about the next chapter, on any timeline

Usually not a fit

  • Work that is mainly new construction
  • Businesses that depend on big-box or home-warranty contracts
  • Commercial-only or industrial contractors

What we commit to

Three commitments to every owner we speak with.

Confidentiality

Your name, your company and anything you tell us stay private. A buyer learns who you are only after you agree.

No pressure

A first conversation is free and carries no obligation. Reply “no thanks” to any message from us and we will not write again.

Plain answers

We will tell you who we work for, how the process runs and what happens next, before you decide anything.

Questions

What owners usually ask first.

Who do you work for?

Buyers. Keystone Deal Partners is a buy-side firm. We introduce owners to buyers, and we do not list or market companies for sale.

Can you tell me who the buyers are?

Not in a first message. Once an owner agrees to a confidential conversation, we describe the buyer in general terms. We name the buyer before anything about the owner's company is shared with them.

How did you find my company?

Through business directories, company websites and commercial business data. If you would rather not hear from us, reply “no thanks” and we will not write again.

Does it cost anything to talk?

No. A first conversation is free and carries no obligation.

Is my information shared with anyone?

No. We do not share your name, your company or anything you tell us with any buyer until you have said yes.

Do I have to be thinking about selling?

No. A conversation is a way to learn what your options could look like. It does not commit you to anything.
